Oh, the suspense ... nah, not killing me, but I really am curious what MF came up with - and hope it'll work for you, Ray.

After taking a longer look on the picture I posted for Version 3 I am actually not really sure any more if that is a version 4, because I thought I had seen a version( as I described earlier) where the ball on the spring goes all the way into the eye and rolls on the inside behind the iris.
The version pictured here should not have the same problems I encountered with version 3 as the ball kinda presses into the eye center and as such into a good spot where neutral rotation occurs.
But since I cannot currently find the one set of eyes I should still have somewhere to check their version and I certainly don´t want to take out the violet ones my Samantha now sports again( which I think are my described V3) I'll have to leave this uncertain.
